Yes, Lego. Specifically Lego Technic.


I know some of you guys try to hide your love of Lego Technic but don't be shy! I just bought my first Technic set in quite some years(the 8070 Supercar) and the fact is that Lego's are not just for kids. Sets like the new Supercar, Excavator and Mercedes-Benz Unimog U400 are being made for geeks like us to ogle at. The working gearbox with the real clutch system, the power functions, working suspension, and even the possibility to add remote control functionality are just some of the amazing features the big kids at Lego are dreaming up for us to buy. There is something special about creating a vehicle or machine yourself and while I love diecast cars in no way do they fill that void. I find that it is also a great stress reliever.

The people who log in every day to see what new artworks have been posted here on DeviantArt are creators. We all love to create, whether it be with paint, pixels or small bits of plastic! I encourage you to show everyone your Lego or K'NEX creations here on DeviantArt. I'll post the 8070 Supercar when I complete it!
